Since its launch in November 2022, ChatGPT has taken the world by storm, with users challenging it to write songs, serve up delicious recipe suggestions and even fix their essays!
What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a cutting-edge language generation tool that can produce written content that is almost identical to text written by a human.
How does ChatGPT work?
Powered by a transformer architecture, ChatGPT uses large amounts of data and computing techniques to make predictions and string words together in a meaningful way. By analyzing data patterns and structures, the system can generate new content that is coherent and extremely like human-written text.
So, we decided to test the chatbot’s massive artificially intelligent brain, asking ChatGPT to write a blog post about none other than Marty the Robot.
What did we do?
We simply told the program to:
And within 30 seconds, we had our response:
Overall, ChatGPT did a terrific job and managed to pull together coherent and accurate text.
It’s clear that ChatGPT can be a fantastic tool that can be used to support humans in many ways – from writing essays and simplifying text to debugging and writing code – the opportunities are countless and, with emerging technologies, are growing day by day.
