21st Century Community Learning Centers

This program supports the creation of before- and after-school programs that provide academic enrichment opportunities for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. Funds may be used for expanding learning activities or any area of enrichment and include technology.

ESEA (Title I, Part A):

The purpose of this grant is to provide all children with the significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps.

GEAR Up

The GEAR Up grant program is designed to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.

Gifted and Talented Students

This program aims to support students (particularly the economically disadvantaged, disabled, or limited English proficient) who have been underrepresented in gifted and talented programs and reduce the gap in achievements of certain groups.

IDEA:

The IDEA provides funding for programs designed to support students who require special education.

Magnet Schools Assistance Program

These grants are provided to assist in the desegregation of public schools by supporting the elimination, reduction, and prevention of minority group isolation in elementary and secondary schools with substantial numbers of minority group students. Funding can be used for specific academic programs and can be used to support the inclusion of STEM.

Small Rural School Achievement Program

These grants provide rural local educational agencies with financial assistance to fund initiatives aimed at improving student academic achievement.
