I've finally achieved being totally stand alone - meaning to take MARTY say to School and for my Daughter to show her the moves by loading the SCRATCH programs in the PDF and to use the Mobile Phone App to Calibrate and make MARTY move. Here's what will work: Current Windows 10 laptop with latest patches (DO NOT USE an old Windows XP laptop like what I tried to do originally as this will cause the laptop/Chrome NOT to find MARTY thru the Calibration url. I tried countless different combinations like chan…

Hi, I just noticed something which I think has caused most of my problems. I don't think I ever got the twist washers in the original package. I recently posted a video of Marty's left leg not completing a full step but going up and down. I pulled the left knee apart and noticed that the wire was wrapped around the Servo Horn (not sure if this is the correct term). Today I had the same problem with the right knee. I am assuming that the twist Washer keeps the wire out of the Server as it moves.

Hi, I just wanted to ask if I was to take MARTY and a Wifi switch do I still require the internet connection to bring up the SCRATCH programming screen? Whilst I am at home MARTY is connected and working fine, but If I was to take MARTY to my daughter's school I need to know what equipment to bring with me.

Hi, I'm preparing for the School Science show in Melbourne, Australia and I would love to show case Marty by using SCRATCH programming - this would be very different and the kids (5-9 year old would really love it). so my 2 objectives 1) show case what SCRATCH programming can do and how it can relate to the real world (i.e. MARTY) 2) software development / problem solving isn't that hard and is something that we all need to do ...
I would like to hear of other people's ideas on what they would show ca…

Hi, my daughter accidentally pulled back the left arm and I could hear the left arm servo go 'click'. I had to gently move it back in to place. Now when Marty is powered on; calibrated and I hear the left servo motor.
Will I do any damage if I try and twist the left arm servo back?

Hi, I find that the Foot Springs are very easy to fall out of you just touch them. I can't see how in your description that the "clipped under the two plastic tabs, and that the bracket runs between the guides" can be pushed in ... as mine come out easily. Also, how do we get spares for these / what is the cost if we live in Melbourne, Australia?
